Aiya, i am newbie to fish and aro, wish to seek wisdom in the forum on the following definitions

1) golden
2) banjar/indon
3) red/super red/violet red
4) RTG/crossback/yellow
5) 1/2 red/green

i notice there are so many definitions used for aro and every person has a different definition/name for the same fish, are they the same or ??

then u can go for YT (Yellow Tail) aka green arowana......is around ur budget.....

invest another few RM you can get small cambodian green which is quite nice or another RM50 for low grade red aro (2nd/1.5 grade)..
but i would suggest save more money and buy RTG for about RM650-700

last time when i start keeping arowana, i start with cheap aro like pearl, siver and YT but 3 years investement on water bill, electricity, feeder, food & time are wasted as the aro dont turn out nice and no value for trade in..

if you can, start at least with RTG

Hi, i just bought myself a yellow aro (it is also called green aro?) in a tank with my small siamese tiger.

After a few hours, got shock when it lost a few scales

what happe and can it recover?
