RTG vs 1/2 red

now I own 3" yellow tail and plan upgred to Red.. after survey many shop the
cheapest is 1/2 red about RM300++.....the other one is RTG cost RM600++....
need advise from sifu here to choose and hope give some reason...

this depends on the purpose u keeping aro...for a 1.5, when reach ~13", just fetch around 500++ wherease for a RTG, can go to 1000++. The tank, effort, food that for both 1.5 & RTG is the same......

which size 3-4" is around 2K++ around kl

confusing, some 1/2 red have more red colour than RTG...but the price lower...

yes...some good quality RTG can fetch such good price bcos that might be a downgraded MG....

at Arowana shop,kepong got so many RTG average 3" size..price average same..
don't know which one to choose...what kind of criteria show a good arowana?

these are some basic citeria:
1) big finnage
2) no DE
3) swimming posture OK

of course there are other more criteria....

Hi Menghun, i'm looking for a baby rtg myself. Know of anyplace where i can get good deals? What's the average price for one?

i m from penang, not very sure about kl part. but i do know some of the lfs that carry nice rtg, like xian leng, house of arowana, PF..the rest not very sure.....the price for rtg is quite different, it depends on the quality, can range from 600-1k+

I see. I just checked out Xian Leng today. They had a few, going for about a grand. Found myself lurking around their blood's, chili's and X-backs most of the time though. What beauties

after make a little research,I'm not going for 1.5 red or RTG....
now going for HBG (high back golden)...the price almost same with RTG..
