Sigh all the best things being exported out. Just like guppies. I found a guppy breeder (don't want to mention who nanti kena parang) with some nice strains but can't even spare to us hobbyist some because he's under contract exporting overseas. So we are deprived and have to sort to import back the fish we exported. Sound ridiculous sometimes to think about.

Can't said like that lar...as you know typical malaysian are kinda stingy n not willing to pay. Those mat salleh willing to pay more. Like we pay RM400 for a pair of macros. They paid USD400 for a pair. I heard they bid the macros up to USD900 before.

Somemore...we pay ringgit...mat salleh paid USD. so the supplier or the breeder can earn more. try to put yrself in their shoe. you want to earn ringgit or usd? First of all, kev did offer us before he export.

I dont think the price of that splenden just like macros. but i do hope so dont be too high lar. spent in macros n chiller for macros. really pot kai liao.

they do well in 27-28C. Heard some experts able to breed in 28C. But mostly the macro mating only in low temp like 25C. Waiting for the DIY chiller from melvin. Gonna put some pressure on him...

Having an expensive fish is not easy. must taking good care of the water temp, water parameter and food. I dare not to feed them the lousy frozen blood worm and pellet. No live feeder also. So far saw the Hikari frozen blood worm is the best. They just able to finish 1/3 of cube everytime. The most famous breeder in Brunei feeding beef heart.

The splendens is the "Blue dragon" plakat strain lah....
Look like in attached picture from Siamcrowntail except this one bred by another breeder.

Price is $20 for male. Have about 5more pc left. No more females.
