Smile keeping bettas in air con rooms

Just a thought tho
Does it affect bettas if they are kept in air con rooms, like maybe more susceptible to diseases, compared to those that are kept outdoors or under normal room temperature?

cheers,
funkychips.

Not so sure about it and i found out most office girls like to put a fish bowl in their office table at the air cond room.don't seem to hv problem with other fish, betta i think not a big issue.
Anyways, the air cond not running 24 hour,so IMO can.just watch for the white spot as the tempreture changer.once used to the tempreture changer, don't think will be the problem.just my 2 cents.

Well Betta are tropical fish so they need to be in a temprature of 75-86 F (24-30 C) in order to be kept well. If you have a heater in the tank then you should be fine, if not I wouldn't do it...then again it depends if you want your betta to live comfortably or just live...

Nice plakats... The left one is a chocolate, right?

Hmm.... I think as long as temperature not below the minimum req, and the fish are not directly facing the air conditioner, should be ok... They live quite ok I guess....

Do you keep you PC on most times? Then maybe keeping them near your PC could help to keep the water a little warmer... Radiating heat ma...

Oh, and do change them to a larger container if possible.... Heat lost harder..
