Are the scales raised? As if like a pine cone? If yes, then she most definitely has dropsy... A really deadly disease, 50-50 chance of survival with medication.... Use maracin 2, kanamycin or tetracyclin to treat...
If no raised scales, could be constipation... Feed food with laxative properties, like daphnia, or thawed green peas... Read up this site http://www.bettatalk.com/betta_diseases.htm |

hi dude, thanks for replying,
Guess it went off already...she's gone back to normal swimming mode. No, she's not puffed up like a pine cone, her tummy's just normal but only thing is that she floats. She floats when she swims, she floats when she pecks her pellets, she sleeps while floating....and now she's back like nothing's happened! I suspect dropsy too...but no signs of it...I'll take ur advice to feed laxative stuff...thanks!
