hmmm.... more info please? Is the tank covered to minimize effect of cold draft? Food giving what? How often you change water?

There are many reasons.... Usually, I experience the greatest loss of fries at 2 weeks old, where typically, i lose up to 20% of fries for some unknown reason.... All my broods also like that.... 400 fries, lose 80; 100 fries, lose 20....

i din change water for almost 3weeks.. i jus put it ther and leave.. observe everyday.. the water is like wat i show in previous pic..

im not sure they is how many ther.. cos im using 2ft tank.. kinda hard to locate where they r... i think mayb got 100 or less, now only left 30 gua..

i giv them some frosen dalphia.. but din c them eatin.. so i change it to egg yolk.. it is kinda hard to c them eatin aso.. i seldom giv them food cos i do put plant inside, they may get some food there.. and i afraid it could pollute the water and i dun c they finish the food i giv it to them aso.. recenlty, i get microworm.. hope they do eat it.. they eatin though.. but i still the fry dying.

i have transfer them to small container.. kinda small and put some plant inside.. i feed them inside.. easier to c whether they eat or not.. but later i got to transfer them back to medium tank. not 2ft tank anymore..

A water change is definitely necessary considering the amount of food you've been feeding them. Fry is more sensitive to water quality than adult fish in most cases. With fry.. most of what you feed them will be uneaten... we always have a tendency to overfeed fry, which is why it's good to start with live foods.. so they stay alive long enough to be eaten. Betta fry have a crucial period of needing to be fed after 48 hours, if they're not fed after this time when their yolk sacs are depleted, they tend to waste away even if they feed at a later stage. Why this occurs is still unexplained. So, water change(with conditioned and aged water) and continue feeding microworms and if you can, provide some freshly hatched brine shrimp.

I agree with you soyadude.

In my opinion, feeding them frozen daphnia still too early .... At least 1.5 months then only i do so....
