Bettas don't have to be fed everyday and their stomachs are as big as their eye. Just stop feeding the little fella for the next two days and see how things go.

(Some people drop a small raw pea to cure constipation but that's only if the tummy is still bloated after you stopped feeding it for a few days.)

In future, just feed bettas once a day - I usually give my betta three pellets a day OR three bloodworms a day. Sometimes I skip one day just to let my betta's tummy relax.

i feed my bettas a variety of different food . and one day a week they don't get any food , then the next day i give each one a tiny piece of pea , to help keep them regular . been doing this for long , long time . haven't had any trouble . they are all doing great .

hmm.. u can feed more actually.. but u jus have to notice whether they poo or not..

u feed em today, make sure they poo the next day.. only u feed another time.. i think is better.. something like input and output.. then next input is jus after the output..

As eleraine suggested, don't feed your betta for 1-2 days. After that, you might try feeding him a few peas with the shells peeled off. It also might be possible that he has dropsy. If he does, you can add a little bit of aquarium salt to his tank.
