My betta starting getting small white growth on the side of his mouth about 5 days ago i noticed it, it started getting bigger so i went to the pet store, i told them it looks like the end of a q tip. they said its normall and its a fungus. they gave me simply betta fungus and bacteria cure. i put him in a seperate small tank and put the recomended dose in for 2 days like it says, well this stuff comming out of his mouth is getting bigger and his mouth is stretched open he cant close it and cannot eat and now he is just laying at the bottom of tank breathing

well i got no responces but to those interested sadly 2 hours after i posted this last my betta died. i burried him

i guess i read this forum too late. RIP.
