Any idea where I can get half moon bettas in KL? They're quite difficult to find unless you know some breeders.

pauline,

i saw a few half moon bettas for sale for rm20 each at a lfs in taman megah, beside ming tein. last week they had two very beautiful full moon betta for sale at rm90 each but is not there anymore when i there today.

That is Megaworld which going to close down.

Btw, there is a new shop in UE3 Mihaja. They are selling all range of Bettas. Price from RM40-RMxxx.

Thanks roadspike for your info. I'll check it out. And dom is right. Megaworld has been in the red for past few months and looking to take over was Marine 88, but not sure if deal closed.

Are you still looking for half-moon?
Saw some at Xian Leng, Shah Alam yesterday "imported half-moon" going for 38 flat.
Many Crowns to choose going for 5 flat.
Quality? Well, I'm no judge.

Thanks, yes I bought one over there last week, I believe the ONLY one that was a half moon. Most of them are either super deltas or deltas. Could've been half moons before but prob due to mishandling, their tails have lost their 180 degree spread.

Many thanks tho for keeping an eye out for me. You interested in planted tanks by any chance?
