Default Breeding Orandas

Hello,
Last week i purchased 2 imported orandas from singapore. They are approx 3-4 yrs old. I have 5 feet aquarium tank. If i put these 2 orandas were into the aquarium tank they r sitting at the bottom of the tank and if i put any food they r coming to the top eats the food and again sitting at the bottom of the tank. If i put these into a tub they r very active. Why is it? Moreover i am more specific in breeding these two. Can i breed orandas in a tub. If it is possible do i need to put gravel along with the plants or only natural plants alone is enough. Pls anybody suggest me 2 overcome from this problem.

Can i breed an imported singapore orandas here in indian climatic conditions when i was asking to the LFS who is a owner of a big goldfish farm here, he says it is very difficult to breed and feeding these frys. Is it true. I am ready 2 face any hardwork to breed these 2. But i had breeded with some local orandas also in the past. Can i succeed in this. Pls HELP with your suggestions.

LUV,
Orandas

i think its quite hard to grow the fry..because of the climax..the temperature should b cooler..ya..some plants will help the eggs to cling on top of the plants..you say ur orandas are sitting at the bottom..izit the water volume too high for them?how deep is your tank compare to your tub..
correct me if im wrong..thanks..
