Default Corydoras Barbatus
Hi Everyone,

Not a very big fan of catfishes but there are quite a few unique strains that caught my eye, namely the Barbatus or commonly known as Giant Cory. Now it's not a common fish in the KL and PJ LFS but would like to know if any of you have stumble upon this magnificent fish. Found out that the fish is sold for RM166 in Japan. Very nice specimen. I've never seen it here. Rare indeed but very nice. Might want to try AI(Aquatics International). They have a couple of rarities there once in a while.

Post giant cory.....
Interesting to know that giant corys exists. just bought a pair of sterbay/leopard corys (Corydoras Trilineatus)....the ones printed on the hikari feeds for corys. pic attached.

I think Plecowhacko and a fellow forumner LTO have them Barbatus..... if I can recall I sold them some... or was it something else... can't remember

Cories are nice but they don't travel well...

Meaning that every time they are transported (import/export) or from a long journey a lot of them die.

Ask kevkoi about AI. Apparently he knows AI a whole lot better and know about the more rare cories they stock occasionally. Chiclid connection - if you get any shipments of cories, let me know, i'd be interested.

Haiz........ this is really so depressing wan lar....... last time me and kev take so many types of cories and put in Rockeast no one asked........ now no more liao, u all start asking. As I can recall we had Metae, Loxozonus, Pygmeus....... greenline, goldline etc...... and no one asked. Kev still has some green and gold I think ,go ask him.
