At CTY Penang, you can get chinese sturgeon (Acipenser sinensis) for RM 28 each, size is abt 10 cm 4 inch. These are carnivores, 17 - 22 celsius bottomfeeder. Can grow up to 100 cm depend on tank size etc.

I just bought one today measure approximately 10 cm, my tank temperature is at 26 - 26.5 celsius. I'm currently feeding it with tetra bits complete food. Tomorrow will go get the tetra algae flake for bottom feeder fish. My fish tank PH is maintained at 7.6 no salt is added im using water from filter left for 1 day filtration.

d'sturgeon is very naughty it try to cut the tank temperature measure wire wiv it's extended nose. Once a while it will attack the leftover food drops by sucking it.

2nd day
The sturgeon is very playful, I've added air filter bubble into the tank, now is at 25 celsius PH 7.6 the sturgeon will deliberately swim into the air bubble and let the air bubble flush its body upward to the surface of the water.

It also like to poke the extended nose at the surface to sniff once a while.
