hi *waves* i am a new member. i have a ten gallon tank but right now all i have is two fish and snails, but i have been thinking about getting a crawdad. (i think this is where they would be, right?) anyway, i have been doing research but keep finding different information, so if you know any answers to these or what is true or not, please tell me.
here is a my aquarium:
Video of fish tank - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting do you think a crawdad would be able to get out of this?
i have found things saying to feed crawdads fish food, turtle food pellets, dry cat food, and bottom feeder pellets. i have also found to feed them vegetables and to give them feeder fish sometimes, but are the fish neccesary? what would be best to feed them?
would the snails be eaten?
i found many websites saying only one crawdad for a 10 gallon tank but also many saying two to a ten gallon?
one lest thing: i would catch one from 11 mile reservoir when we go camping in a few weeks, but to get it home would it be ok in just a plastic container? how big would it need to be, just to get it home in? and should i get any of the plants from the water they live in?
anything else that would be important? things i do know of are to keep the water chlorine free, 70 degrees, and clean.
