Default Please help to Identify this fish from Borneo. Thanks
Went for swimming nearby and caught some fish. Can anyone identify this fish? Is it Flying Fox, Epalzeorhynchus kalopterus or Garra taeniata? I am from Kuching, Sarawak, Borneo.

Nice pics

Looking at its snout n pectoral fins, i would guess its the wild cousin of the common algae eater sold in LFS. The true Siamese Flying Fox has a more pointy snout.

could it be Paracrossochilus acerus? I have not seen much info and picture of Paracrossochilus acerus as reference yet.

good guess. i have found this picture of Paracrossochilus acerus
