ve had my Kamfa Flowerhorn ( louhan) for about two weeks now it is 4" in a 50 gal. tank and it is alone with a moderate sized clay pot in the middle of the tank to serve as its territory. i do normal waterchanges (about 30-50%) and i clean the tank weekly and sometimes put small amt. of salt.
for the past 2 weeks my FL had been fine whenever i approach it meets me and swims around in my direction and it follows my hand when i touch the glass, i even handfeed it with superworms and it doesnt swim away when i try to pet it underwater. all was fine the greedy louhan eats whatever pelet or live fish or worms i put in his tank ( note that i dont feed it with frozen feeds). my problem is something must have spooked my FL, coz one day when i approached its color turned very dark and it tried to hide behind the filter pump, and it doesnt eat what i feed it anymore. and i tried watching it from far away.. it will swim normally then suddenly it will panic and will then hide. what can i do to make my fish trust me again, how do i make its behavior normal again. |

hi,
i suggest u put another flowerhorn which is fierce and about samesize with it. put them in the same tank but have to separate them using a transparent partition. u need only 1 day, ur fish will not scare u oledi. i faced this problem b4 and it really works. GTR
