where can i buy cichlids in Selangor and KL?

well, haven't had the chance to 'explore' the lfs here in kl or selangor as I also have to work on weekends...so the only one that i was able to visit was pets wonderland in midvalley...things are a tad bit more expensive but I think the selection is ok...but then again, I haven't been to the other lfs here in KL....

perhaps kevkoi or hemiolopterus can comment on this...??? anyone?

The shop at midvalley has a poor selection of fish to say the least. Prices are... errr.. shopping center prices I suppose. If you REALLY wanna see plenty of fish at lower prices than any fish shop (they're basically wholesalers that sell to these fish shops.), go to Aquatics International.

What about Apistogramma spp. or Kribs? And..is this the one which is opposite the Subang market? I remember someone wrote about a store there.

No, this is not a shop... it's a wholesaler. It's somewhere deep in an industrial area in Subang going towards Sungei Buloh. (not the easiest to find, but sure worth your while.)

Apistogrammas are something they have occasionally. Last time I was there they had some Pandura and Agassizi. Sometimes they're very well stocked with interesting species, sometimes just the boring bread and butter fish.
