Default Cynotilapia Afra Hai Reef

Hi ALL,

I currently have a breeding group of 4 wild caught afras(1male 3 female) to let go. Don't get me wrong, I like them very much but due to lack of space(My priority now is my planted tank which i tried accomodating the afras but they keep digging the substrate which is creating a mess)...they are doing really well in my tank, 3 females looks like holding.

They are a wonder to look at, just ask other members who have seen it in John's house. Easy to keep and not fussy at all with water parameters.

If you really want to go into exotic malawi or african cichlids. This group of afras will get you excited for more. Some pictures of male afra for you(female is drab light blue).

Do get in touch with me(012-521380 if you are interested. No public viewing, only serious buyers will be entertained. They are priced at Rm180 for the group of 4.

Thanks.

Group not available anymore. Sold to their rightful owner who can take care of them better than me.

Thanks for saving my pocket...heheh
I cant find space or cash for them anyway...new babies coming
About 100++ each for 3 pcs
Yup colim, I'm still into my plecos...they are getting big too
They take like forever to grow...till now my L190 only grew about 2.3cm...in 1 year
My Little buggers are doing better LDA31 grew about 2.5cm too but it was tiny when i got it.
I think this is the fish i'm suppose to keep since i still am interested in them after more than 1 year hahaha

Hey Isaac, the fishes are doing great.

Just rearranged the rock decor in the tank for them - more 'territorial markers' and hiding places and stuff. They seem to enjoy the new setup - the 2 males have their respective territories (and have displaced my Oto Lithobates ... now he's without a spawning ground).

Oh ... and also stripped 3 females at the same time too; 100+ fry!

Great news john! At least now you have 2 dominant males flaring against each other which means more drama!

I hear that you have harvested the fries. Congrats but now u need to get some buyers for them. They are really a cute and great bunch to have.

Too bad that they dig the substrate, else I wouldn't have sold them. Took me 1 month to make the decision. Anyway I'm glad that they are doing well in your tank.
