Careful not to overindulge in er...what i consider to be common stuff in the LFs as you will have the tendency to drop all of them whenu get ur hands on some nice rare individuals...so no point getting too many lower range ones. I've dumped or trade off many of them to shops and friends hehe

Oh just in case u dun know...people dun mix mbuna and utaka together because of different diet required by them.

Cool

I believe winksta is looking at a mix of Malawi Haps & Peacocks.

Haps & Peacocks can mix, but just be careful the Haps are not the aggressive & big types ... or your Peacocks are gonna get bullied (and most likely die too).

Personally, I would prefer to allow the Peacock to be the dominant fish, and have some 'docile' Haps in the tank (like Utaka).

Oh, and if you don't mind fry (ie raising them from fry all the way to adulthood ... probably takes about 12 mths), I have some Afra fry for sale (refer to the link below).

https://www.myfishforum.com/thread2454.html

Afra are Mbuna, but are considered 'not aggressive' for an Mbuna. Not selective of their diets too; like all Malawi cichlids, just don't overfeed them.

I'm mixing them with Haps and they are doing fine - actually, they are the dominant fish (even though they are the smallest fish in the tank).

I've tried mixing them with Peacocks and the Peacocks did fine ('cos the Peacocks are open-water fish, and the Afra are rock-dwelling fish). The Peacocks still showed their colour 'cos they were bigger than the Afra.

It's not in Subang Jaya...... its in the old road leading to Subang Airport. It's really hard to explain to you the roads there. If you are interested I might be able to take you there if our time coincides. Just gimme a p.m.
