Default 20 gallon long

i am in the middle of cycling a 20 gallon long that is planted(not heavily)

thinking about going with this combo:

6 black skirt tetras
4 upside-down cats
2 kribs

i would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions...tia

Is the upside down cat supposed to be a synodontis species ?
If it is, I dont think u can house all of them inside as they can get very teritorial and not to mention...quite large

Synodontis nigriventris

from my research it seems they would only get to be about 4 inches maximum, and they are very peaceful fish unless paired with large cichlids, which kribs are not

way too many 4" cats imo, one maybe...how about corys?
kribs are nice...

yeah cories are a good alternative! and there is such a huge variety of them you wont have much trouble finding ones that'll look great in your tank!

Yup...corydoras and loaches make a better choice than syns. They have a potential to get aggresive regardless of how some claim them to be docile.
