got 6 of them...they are Champsochromis caeruleus.

the green stuff is duck weed. To assorb the metal toxic from the water.

They look like they are only juvies still. No wonder they are still hugging the rocks.

They will grow to a healthy 12 inches if properly taken care of. Haha, and for a 6-footer, 6x 12-inch fish may be too many.

But got plenty of time ... at least 2 years for them to reach 6 inches, and another 3 years to hit 10 inches. Expected lifespan is 7+ years, but definitely far longer in captivity.

haha...if i m able to get a landed properties within this 2 years. I will get them a pond...

Saw from other forum..some of them reach 40cm. that is damn huge. worst come to worst...take out all the rock...or sell off a pair.
