Default 3 inches is not bad....

Ehh, 3 inches is not bad for a LFS. Most of the time they dont keep anything longer than 2 inches. Ikano is ok, but I suppose some fishes have a higher mark up?

definitely, price of rental i guess

but i really think they bring great looking cichlids in, not the type that looks like pariah. they even have specials like leluepi.....unsure of spelling which i have not seen in other LFS. their demasoni also looks superb

bought some yellow labs from them, 3 females were holding heheheh

good luck with your dempsey hunt, saw the real thing, they look good

I saw 3 pcs which they claimed to be Blue Dempsey @ Pet Safari yesterday. It's only about 1"(smallest)-1.5"(largest) in size @ RM220/pc. Didn't really recollect the pricing but it's quite high I'm sure. I didn't note there's 3" specimen though. Maybe someone tapau already....

I'm particular about the colour and condition of the fish. Sometimes they look stressed (dull, grey-brown) being put with other fishes and may get white spots too. That's how my 1st BD died within a week of purchase and I had to do some treatment for the other which lived on until 6".

latest update from ikano today, they dropped the price of blue dempseys to 110 each. same remaining 3 fishes

it will be great if whoever goes to ikano pet safari help me identify the fish that is tag as "Brown Cichlids". i wanna know if they belong to tropheus variant or not
