Hi John
Sometimes the luohans yawn by stretching their mouths open! Hiding behind the pump can mean they are frighten of something. Nothing to worry about unless you spot some disease or ulcers! Hope they are OK now! Johnson |

my female one lay eggs 4", unfortunely, i'm taken out male one, so all gone. If you guy put them side by side (male & female) provided with glass barrier and suddenly both started shaky their head and body...so you know it's time to mix them up.

Hi Kpunk,
Thanks for the info about the FH pre-spawning indication. I use to visit aquariun shops and very often or at any 1 time there are spawn spilled all over the aquarium & the male will try to hide them. Sometimes the female are also doing the male function. I was told that the female will eat up the fry once the eggs are hatched. Can anyone enlighted me whether this is true? Female FH are very much smaller compared to the male. The female are often bashed up by her partner when helping her to spawn. I have seen 4"-5" female spawn & their males are usually heavily built 7" and above in size. I dont know what happens to the eggs next. IF anyone has the experience please share with us. cheers |

Choong,
Long story yur know. Luckily, fish shop owner at my house give me some tip, after having lunch together! 1. make sure couple are the good quality one. 2. Male bigger in size from female one. 3. Actually not bashed up Choong. The male one gush/pour sperm immediately after laying eggs. 4. 5. Item no. 4 & 5 to be continued. Sorry Choong. I'm coming back to yur later. see u |
