hAHA Who's kacauing the selling thread??? Ppl who r interested must have got them by now. Although I got them a little late

The viejita and bitaeniata settling down just fine. Trifasciata is a little timid although being the largest in size among the 3 pairs I've gotten from Kev. What a loser hahaha.....

Thinking of getting the cacas from Kev but ran out of tanks to house them so maybe later. Kev suggested to keep them together because apistos don't cross breed but I prefered to keep them in separate tanks to prevent territorial disputes kekeke....

Littar do you have Yellow/Gold or Orange Flash cacas. My next plan is to get them especially the Orange Flash looks captivating......

Not 100% true.... We do have Apisto Steel Blue (A hybrid variant as claimed) though unfounded whether it is really hybridized or a selective line bred strain. I'd doubt the latter though coz if it was line bred it sure is one poor looking specimen. Recent scientific research has founded that Apistos are very particular about their mates, which proves does in somewhat safe to say that they are unlikely to hybridize, unless in captivity there's no alternatives.

OIC......

Luckily din take Kev's advise nyea nyea Bad Advise Kev.......

But Kev did mentioned that the variants like the cacas variants do cross breed. He also said the pickiness of mates. The trifac paired up in Kev's tank so he said it has to go together hahaha.

Yes, the likelihood on hybridizing is more towards the same groupings. Do a search on the net to check out which belongs to which.... can't remember it.
In your case if you have selected male/female ratios, I wouldn't be afraid.
