The average fish keeper in Malaysia will spend a couple hundred dollars buying a fish they think is 'nice' or auspicious, but then would be hard-pressed to buy propper equipment to keep the fish or decent food to feed it. That's just the way it is. |

hahaha...thats a good one well..i dont expect malaysian to fork out rm100 for a 3 inch rare cichlid.. and rare doesnt mean beautifull. its a good thing i spend years overseas...kinda change my attitude towards fish keeping.

Hahaha try asking them to pay RM150 (or more) for a pair of guppies
Anyway just to illustrate for my scenario.....cause I keep predominantly guppies and also a few apistogramma's aside.... |

So, izzit because the lack of information Malaysians have on these other species of fish that they don't understand their value or know how to appreciate them? Cause I still see Malaysians fork out hundreds or thousands for goldfish, koi and arowana.
