Default Apisto Offspring

Dear Sicklid Members,

As I had blurted in some of the threads, I managed to spawn A.trisfac & A.bitaeniata, so now I present to you my babies......Dr. BD sorry for taking soooooooo long to take pictures. They were just to tiny. The largest one now is about 1.++ cm long, there are some less than that which I suspect maybe female in the making

Anyway by letting nature taking its course I'm only bless with 13 trisfac & 12 bitaeniata. It's all in the same tank, so for now which is which don't ask. Just look at the pictures

Wait lar, I will spawn Inka officially aka baenschi........Kev told me I'm the only one with surviving pair, both male & female intact......Dang the viejita both male now became brokeback cave......when I took them, it was about 1.5 cm, now they turn out to be quite big for their size and despite being big, they are extremely timid sigh..........

Hahaha Uncle Yogibear,

I think should be able to since their body shape is different. Males definitely can tell when they color up and shape, dorsal and caudal all different. Females are different since trifas females are stouter compared to bitae because bitae more elongated. But of course if you ask me now I definitely can't tell since they all looked the same for the time being.......

Sogua,

Do some research and some persistence, abit of luck, anybody can succeed. Guppy eh....I have plenty and still breeding about 20 var...slowly bearing fruit Bred variety of fish long time ago when I was young, the highest record for number of fish is lionhead goldfish. 3,000++ fries had to get the HDPE water tank to house them.....in the end sold for pennies because the LFS bully young kid......

Yes Yogibear, now can officially join the beary family.....

Thanks for ur advice. ya i know we need to do research for that. Just wan to share with all the newbies, if u wan to breed ur fishes, make sure u have several tank and ur house have to be big enough. if not later ur mum will scold u kao kao!
