Sorry to hear that one of the female Oto died.
But glad to hear the Mloto is showing colours.

I'm trying to breed the Oto now (keeping a species tank - 1m4f in the 4 footer). If they breed, I'll let you know via sms.

Was it deformed or the tail got chopped off?

There is a practise of snipping the tail off parrots to make them heart shaped. Came up on a singaporean magazine.

A LFS in what's that place ... Aman Damansara (?) has a tank full of these parrots.

Hi Soyadude, because 'you asked for it' I searched for the answer.LOL.

Taiwan reef is not the Taiwan we are familiar with. The actual place is called Taiwanee Reef.

There's actually a place in Malawi called "Taiwan Reef". Why they call it tat I wouldn't know. Maybe lotsa Taiwan tourists there .. hahahaha!

yes i also think like this last time why call the fish taiwan reef but cc told me it bcos of the actuall location there in malawi.

it is not pale, it is golden color which is normal to TR...

CC is correct ab the name. Basically, scientisr name the malawi and tanganyikan according to the caught location...
