The so called Taiwan bred GT's was actually bred locally as inbreeding, mutation, stunted(not given much food) and taken from pond that not much food given that make them small. Some breeder even used colour enhancer or hormomes to enhance the fish colour and sell as imported fish just to make more bucks.

When u seen a short body type GT's just look like Flower Horn,They claim it's new breed from Taiwan and the price is sooo fly kite....

No more flower horn for me, pls. enough is enough.
I know they are cousins, that's why got to be carefull not to get another new hybrid sp.

We lilke this so called stunt sp, it has nice bright green color, can fit small tank for office set up.
also safe on feeding cost.

Friend,
We cannot hv this type of mentality. We must give them grow as big as possible and can put us in a shame situation when someone point the finger to the stunted fish and give very bad comment.

IMO,
Have seen this fish grow in super full size before?.When u seen the tank buster,u will be shocked....

Default green terror.

green terrors are very beautiful cichlids. not too aggrassive if mixed with the right tamk mates. minimum tank size 4'x1.5'x1.5'. better if 4'x2'x2'. get advice from lfs on care and food type.

bear in mind they tend 2 contract disease easily. good luck
