no lar ...wangsa maju got geophagus only. subang jaya 1 got more choice, but the funny lip red colour flowerhorn is a surprise catch lar. ask CC tis fish wat name coz i dunno the spelling lar ..something like Labitus or something like that lar.

can recommend lar...tis fis is peacock bass lar. now big 1 bery hard to find ler. ask CC he also tara.got kecil kecil 1 onli. the FS in pandan indah have big big 1 , bery nice , but price also bery nice...RM70 each. onli soh hai will buy at tis price lar. usually around rm30 can get liao.

helo doktor...tis fis is NOT non-aggressive. they champion garang 1 ah, u put in flowerhorn...5 minute pukul mati hor. they cannot mix with other fish of the same size. go FS buy rm1 talapia , no need 2 , 3 minute eat finis liao hor.
but they dont kacau plants lar ..tats the onli good point about them. they also dun hide behind the plants or swim like gila and hide when people approch them. they see people come , they will go see who hor, see people got bring them makan or not. even let u touch them. really and truly not scared of people 1 ler

show u a better peacock...but not my 1 lar...ang moh people 1

now u know ah.....can lar , after i come back from vietnam, going this afternoon. now got geophagus, peacock and nics only ,dun hav much time for fish and plants lar , after CNY then can gila again. wan to setup a 5 feet synspilus tank ...mau tolong ah.

Tolong, no problem. But tell me when. I have some big cichlids left with YT. Dunno still alive or not! Dunno whether can tarik balik and send for adoption. But my nics are ready for adoption.

But can see and learn from old timers some hands on before I proceed to a larger tank myself (plan for budget if business better).

fly fishing ah...kenot catch any cichlid 1 lar in subang jaya coz there cichilds ada baca 1 ...jaguar can lar, if u wan catch cichlid with fly then go selayang oppsite makro, there dun have tree or lalang kacau.

if belum champion with fly, then normal methods can catch big big jaguars with small size deer hair divers in the morning, cast on top of weeds. other time use white colour minnow patent fish deep.

if u champion liao , then use 4 or 5wt rod with sinking tip line and size 16 to 18 artic fox prawn patent. hahaha...can get big big synspilus hor.

btw no need to cast the whole fly line just like people in subang jaya...catch fish or try to show off casting skill , hahaha, there the fis is only 5 meters away. roll cast for 10 meters is good enough

after cny loh. wat is YT ah? why u dun wan your nics liao? not nice ah? adoption means free izzit, then i take them lor hehehe.

my fren..tis is my advice, stick to the setup u hav now. if u go for a larger tank, u can tahan not to add any more cichlids? the point of having large tanks is to keep a single species, in case of viejas only a pair.
after u hav bought and kept the majority of the cichlid species , sian liao, then onli u go for a single species

Good advice.

New ppl usually very 'hand itchy', buys 'lotsa fish' ... but not enough tanks.

I have also tried to narrow down the number of fish I keep (used to keep like 10 different fish types per tank).

Yet to really keep a species tank ... but if I had one more (ah ... it's always one more ...)

Aiyo... you are right. I will still stick with Blue Dempseys. But I will have other fishes to live with the fellas just as in the natural habitat (if possible). If I have time, I play with other fish. But not goldfish, aros, discus; Dunno why. Maybe even marine.
