cause my luohan always hiding in the air pump, y?..since last 3 weeks?..so shy...when its time for a meal..it dont move..then pretendind to be dead!!..can someone give me some advice..please,,help..its only about 2inch long..please help me!!..

is it alone? sometimes it feels lonely, so it hides and sulks in the corner. i know this sounds cruel, but if you get a cheap fish for it to bully around it might cheer up a bit.

It also could be being bullied, stranger things have happened... If that's the case try moving all your decor around and see if it can fight for a home... It may just think the air pump is it's home and will make no difference...

I can think of several factors. One of which comes to mind is stress, that's why it's acting rather oddly than you think.

Usually the cichlid families are classified to he the hidden jewels of the aquarium because they often hide a lot. I suggest putting stone caves and driftwood in your aquarium so your fish can go and hide somewhere he'd feel secure and safe. Try aquascaping. Fish love plants. Here's ideas that can maybe inspire you while doing that.
