Sorry guys. Busy helping out with my friends project. I think those who are free next week can just meet in Tmn Mayang Chinese Mamak! Tues/Wed nite ok for me. But dont go beyond 11pm lah!

what happen in bangkok is ...they have a club house, paid by members, cichlid kaki will go there lepak when they are free...they share their knowlegde and thats why they come up with very high quality cichlids.
the thais are atleast 10 years ahead of us malaysian when in comes to cichlids..and the thing is when malaysian started out with cichlids back in 80s, the thais are no where, but how come they made so much progress?
its becos they got together and share, they even let me stay in their farms, knowing very well i might learn from them , but they knew at same time they could learn from me.

if you go to a malaysian farm, the only thing thats gonna greet you is a pair of doberman.its a close affair and they are afraid the secret will leak out, but what secret is there to keep?

will malaysian have a club house? a place where fish kaki can get together?...i doubt it...coz the 1st thing they will ask is ...SIAPA MAU BAYAR?

For cichlids kaki who knows Joe...u are lucky to know him. he is willing to share his knowlegde, when doesnt he reply your sms? when doesnt he answer your questions? he is making an effort to promote cichlids... and the thing is Joe rather be somewhere else making a deal, coz thats his bread and butter, yet he's willing to spare time coming out to meet...and share his knowlegde. so wheres the support from you guys?....or its just talk!


if its so diffcult to spare a little time coming out to meet , what else is there to say if we malaysian cichlid kaki are still hanging around in backwaters.

marine is in indonesia lar, bangkok freshwater fishes lar.
cichlids is not an IN-THING in bangkok , its an established thing.

he owes me more than a jug of teh tarik.....its 5 female and 1 male festae, 1 male fenes, a dozen adult discus, a pair of pure strain synspilus and reimburse my money for selling me what was suppose to be Geo. Jurupari

and seriously..i have yet to meet a guy who would spend so much time promoting cichlids in malaysia like joe..and whats more he has no temper. unlike me..bery bery short fused, with a screw missing.

well..tats the truth, they virtually mass produce cichlids yet keeping its strain pure. for african cichlids is like wholesale. i was lucky to live in bangkok and jakarta the past 15 years. thats was the only reason why im still sticking to cichlids coz i could sample almost all cichlids thats avaliable in the market, i guess i would had given up cichlids totally if i had stayed in malaysia.

besides its very easy to get informations from thai cichlid breeders...a couple of Singha beer is enough to get them drunk and start talking..hehehe
