Hi! I'm interested in kribs. Does anyone know where I can obtain them? I'm from the Subang/KL region.

Supposing u get them from Johor, how much do they cost? Are they easy to keep? I've kept rams, parrots and tangs before, but not kribs. What's the minimum tank size for kribs?

yes. That was my first time saw kribs in johor. Was saw 1 time in 88 Marine Pdn Indah. 2 times in other lfs. Price is around RM3.5-4 each.

The kribs max size is around 3-4inch plus tail. Min. tank size for them is 2ft. If you want them to breed faster. get a proper setup...

Oh I see... that's not too expensive. But I think I'll wait for ur pairs to spawn. I would like to have 4 kribs then.

Default Kribs

By now your "baby" kribs shoulld be near mature. Do you still have them (any) ?? If so, I am looking for good breeeding stock, a pair or one male +two females. Color is important and the male must have 3-5 or more caudal fin eyespots. Are we still on the same page??
Let me know what you have. Thanks.
Karl, Canton, Ohio.

FYI. the krib male just get along with 1 female. He won't "fooling" around with other female. Once pair up or spawning. Both male and female will attacking any fishes which get close to them or their babies.

If unlucky, the female died... the male might not get along with other female. It will be alone till die.

The fries is still less than 1inch. They growing slow. But get along with parents very well. The male anal fin and tail is in light blue. The rest of body is in yellow or orange color. Belly or stomach area is with pink color.

Anyway, i am giving up keeping the breeding pair + babies n 1 more female. Any taker? All go for RM15.
