i am now in kl.. having my nano-tank in my room ... the tank is very small.. a little smaller than a normal size pail... can i put an anemone inside? i went to batu karang the other day. The boss said feed anemone a kind of liquid. but batu karang's anemone is too large in size.... very very big .. i want those small size ones like half a palm size... hehe... temperature of the water is fine. sometimes 27 and sometimes 28C. anywhere around selangor or KL will do.

Btw, do i need a protein skimmer if my aquarium is so small? what is the smallest size protein skimmers in the market that you have seen ?

ha ha . so far i know your tank is small but what is the size ??
anemone u can feed it by shrimp meat. personaly i don't think that liquid is good for anemone, is waste money to use liquide for anemone.

now no idea your tank size can not commend lar.
but for small tank u can consider use Air pump type skimmer ,not good but small size
if enough space u can consider use hang on skimmer like weipro .
but not sure your tank size can fit it or not
not using skimmer also ok. just do weekly water change , not over load .not much feeding also can keep water quality .

temperature is ok liao .
make sure that the anemone won't ocupid too many space. if not fish have not enough space to swim and unluckyly touch the anemone will get hurt or kill by anemone , ofcoz clownfish won't have this problems

can u read chinese ??
if can i can show u a link for KL fish shop information

i read an article from nano-reef.com ..... there are a few 2 gallons tanks.... they are excellent... so i also go and buy 2 gallons tank... and i know its surely too small for an anemone... hahah... so i also regret already ....... the other day i went to a shop ... in subang jaya, selangor... they sell a kinda thing which looks like anemone, but got batang one .. looks like a small tree but got the hair like anemone..... can you describe what are those? and what they eat?? small small thing only.. not big in size like anemone. the hair is also green in color one.
I cant read chinese .. sorry .. because my mom didnt send me to chinese school.. haha..

wa 1 gallon tank,
realy can't commend lor ,
is very small tank.
what i can said is u can try but not sure is it OK

if u don't mind i will propose u try damsel lar,
this type of fish is more stronger , survive rate may higher than clownfish.

normaly for new hand i will propose 2 or 3'feet tank is better.more bigger tank is more easy to maintance water / enviroment quality .

too small tank have water evaporize , temperature problems

oh issit ? because my gf wanted a clown fish ... and she said she wanted to put in her house... so i bought her a one gallon tank .... the temp is ok ... 26 and sometimes 27. because i put a cooling fan.. and i advise her to top up water everyady because of evaporation .... because the fan is a real strong one.... haha.... ill try giving her a clown fish lor ... and see how she take care of it.... and i told her to have 25% water change every week... is that good enough ?
