My tank all also red fish, so i dont really bother to maintain the yellow fish..very troublesome to separate yellow fish due to limited space. I am using red enhancer BH from yee fatt. So it's body appears to has some reddish color now.

Nope, no sign of spawning yet.

Hey Sindhu, you have been pretty quiet here lately, let's show us more of your discus pictures again, the least you could do man.

OK, now it's you guys' turn to post up more pictures for our viewing pleasure, please.

Hi Whoopee,
been very busy since the last 2 weeks, downsizing (removed 2 tier racks to the garage to make some more space in my fish room as it felt really crowded in there. I didn't have time to actually plan the final layout), so now have to redo the whole room again. Now I can breathe a bit better, lol. and also upgrading my fish room.

A really good friend Kenny formerly of MG Aquapet (SG) who specializes in Discus dropped by and gave a helping hand in a DIY central system(4' sump) and a a trickle tower system for my 8 X 3' tanks. We also installed individual siphoning system to all my tanks. He was here for 2 days and since then I've been cutting PVC pipes and working 12 hr shift, and still more pipes are going in. I should have installed the siphons a long time ago, but didn't have the time to do it. Highly recommended for all even if you have a single tank. Beats using a single hose to do WC.

Besides this, Kenny suggested that since I have well water, to go for the drip system, which suits me fine and since then WC has been so easy and the tanks are much cleaner. BTW I had installed a mini float valve into the sump of the central system, I found locally, so when I siphon, water automatically fills the sump. Yippeeee. Also changed the b/ground color to light blue for some of my tanks as the yellow was too bright for some strains.

Another plus was that he also tapau 5 SEs and 5 SLs for my breeding program that some kind . Will post photos once they're settled in. Next project will be to setup the garage as either a QT or show room.

Whoppee, where's the photo of your house filter system as promised?

Rgds

Dear Sindhu,
I have been dragging my feet on the plumbing system.
Got 2 new tank recently but until now still thinking about the plumbing arrangement.
Each tank will have its individual sump.
Tank bottom has a hole to discharge water by either manual or automatice opeing valve.
Want to plump tap water to the tank such that it will automatically top up ( into the sump tank I suppose ) during water change or due to evaporation for the matter.
Got all the pvc connections and pipe even a pipe cutter but wondering what float control valve will be suitable.

Will appreciate if you can post some photo if your plumbing arrangement and the 'Siphone' system you mentioned.

Cheers!

BT Lee

sure thing, this gives me time to plan and source this fish as quite laku.
BTW, you can get some clean goldens by crossing MP's.
