so what you see in lfs are usually light coloured tanks for discus. golden and pigeon bloods have tendency to show greying/peppering when in planted tank or dark conditions. even a piece of wood is enough to make it show it's peppering. the breeding form will also accentuate it's pigmentation.

Fethi,
about the eye... it usually occurs with poor water conditions. a good wc usually takes care of it. some salt. do it promptly or the damage maybe permanent.

You mean to say I'm old 'like.....er', son?
I didn't create the pro-more when I was 20 years old. If I did and have consumed it....maybe I might have children of 32 years old...due to loss of self control.... Ferdinc, You are right. Different colour surrounding will affect the tone and shade of discus colour.....similar to that of natural camourflage....though they are not that good at it. Take care, Andrew (the old man)

Thanks Andrew /Stan.
I guess as the fish has the eye problem (even though there is no cloudy eye) since the day one, may be the lfs didn't keep the tanks as clean. Now, I will keep doing regular WC. Since this fish is the only one with cross eye |
