haha bt, why david so kind to you and give you RD's ah?

anyway RT's have to be very patient and keep till at least 4in. otherwise look like lap sap...

since trade fish and plecos are enticing...

Yes man.
RT is not going to show much until well after 6 months i think. My 3 pcs from Bonzi had been in my poccession for 3 months now (presume they are about 3 months old when i took them) and they are only now beginning to start showing the patterns.
Notwithstanding this, however, the 3 are in GREAT shape, in terms of health and SHAPE, approaching that of a bull dog configuration.

Default Buried Alive

Got to buried the sick fish last night.
Alhough almost dead, it refuse to go.
Only the mouth moving.
Took it out of water yet refuse to knock off.
When I bury it, it was still gasping for air..............
Sayang lah, it was the biggest and strongest Red Turquise untill about 2 weeks ago when its fin start to clam and later pass white feaces.
Later found that one of the gill has swollen flesh, like secondary infection.
Treated with metro ( once by direct injection into its mouth ) and appear to improve.
But white feaces continue for more than a week.
Use tetracycline later and condition started to worsen to a point of no return.
Got to ask David to help me look for Red Turquise.......

Cheers!

BT Lee
PS: David did not give me the RD free, he sold them to me at cost.
Would have bought it at double cost and no regret.

My heart goes with ur RT that went last night.

It must have been very painful to c it go like that, not being able to offer effective help.

Anyway, this is part of the joy and sorrow in keeping pets.......

Am sure being an ultra optimist, u will get over it in no time.

Hey BT, i read from web that we can over dose with the "sleeping medicine" to the fish so that the it can go to heaven without any feeling.

Also, I think fish's pain and human pain is not the same lah.......

or put it in a bag and freeze it. slows down metabolic rate and dies peacefully.
