I was thinking about adding a couple of dwarf gourami that a friend is getting rid of into my tank, I have 6 discus fish and many fry at the moment and about 20 other fish.
I know that the gourami prefer water temperature of about 72-82. does anybody know if the slight increase in temperature will kill them if i introduce them?

Yeah i have several floating plants and bottom plants too, i was more concerned about the slight increase in temperature.
I have them in a separate tank now and am going to introduce them on Monday hopefully they will be ok, I will keep an eye on them.

Hi, sorry about the delay in replying but i have been away on holiday and when i came back had to wait 3 weeks to transfer my internet provider.
The Gourami's have settled in fine with no problems except they were a bit harrased by the other fish for a few days, but everyone is ok now and they have even grown slightly. I have another tank im contemplating on converting to marine so my fiance can have some seahorses to look at as she tells me i spend too much time with my fish... Any comments are welcome...
