Sungai Burung: Got alot of burung ah? Then go catch burung at malay kampong. bring along bird trap oso.. hehehe. Not bad lah, an expedition with good makan durian n laksa.

I am not familliar at all with Penang route, gather at somewhere 1st should be nice..

I stay at Ayer Itam, if go from here using Paya Terubong its pretty near also loh. Btw, what time?

Or maybe we can meet in KW or Sunshine Farlim?

great! so fast got gather 7 person already.

lets meet up at Kean Weng, 8am. we can go to Ayer Itam to take breakfast before going over to Balik Pulau.

so here is the update

Balik Pulau Expedition
Date: 14th July 2007
Gathering Point: Kean Weng Aquarium
Time: 8am

Goal1: Visit to Sungai Burung
Goal2: eat Balik Pulau Laksa
Goal3: Durian fest while on the way back

Stuff to bring:
Your own fish catching stuff. if u intend to bring fish home, remember a battery operated air pump. is not a short trip
remember to bring extra pants and shirt as well


p.s. I am driving, so can fetch another 3 person, who else is driving? need another car.

I am driving too.... So, should have no problem.... But, I never been to KW aquarium yet cause I staying in Nibong Tebal, far..... Need sometime to figure out....

Kean Weng Aquarium is in AyerItam area, but if you r not local, is a bit complicated for you to find it.

if you confirm to go, you can meet up with Taipan first, who stay in BM

forgot to mention this, this trip is only for hobbyist. no mass collection of fish or plant is allowed. Flashout mention to me that he use to explain to another person where he got the wild moss and ends up the place he mention, all the moss is gone. the stone, the trunk are bald. most likely sell to LFS. sad tough.
