Calling all Bruneian reefers!

I did a search on 'brunei' in this forum but fell short of one match. So any bruneians here? wud be nice to share info on the shops we have here or where to get supplies from miri or limbang.

I'm new to reef and wud like to knoe if anyone here from Miri and Limbang too?

My tank is a 90g with a 35g sump. Currently im deciding on whether to get 150w MH with a Resun CL650 chiller OR order Interpet's Twin T5 PC 55 watts (220 watts in all). Im not into sps, i like lps and softies, perhaps a derasa.

So yea thats it aboot me. wud like to make friends here, Malaysians, SIngapoeans, Bruneians, anyone who love to reef.

What are the dimensions of your 90G? The lighting you plan to use depends a lot on this, as well as the critters you plan to keep. But whichever dimensions you have, a single 150W is not going to be enough for either spread or depth.... unless you don't mind part of the tank being a bit dimmer, so you can place other inverts/corals that don't need as much lighting.

Alternatively, I'd suggest you go for HO-T5 lighting which is available locally in Malaysia nowadays instead of the Interpet 55W. HO-T5s with the proper reflectors are very much brighter than ANY PC lighting on the market, including the 55W units. Amd you'll also be able to get more colour choices for T5s than for PCs.
