We are going to try our hand at breeding clowns. We have a 29gal that has been set a couple of months and is populated with:
1 yellow tail damsel (will move out when the clowns move in) 1 golden cucumber 1 cond.. anemane (spelling isn't my thing) 1 button pollyp choc chip star live rock few crabs and about a dozen snails I understand clowns can change to female but not back so I'm thinking two young ones will be best so they will both be males.. I was also thinking if they are the only fish in the tank that perhaps the babies can grow up in there.. Any thoughts suggestions? Denise |

bro,u got yr work cut out for you. the fries need to be remove when the hatch as understand the parents up till now protective wud eat their own fries. u also have to start culturing food for the fireis i.e rotifers and such.
not easy to breed but best of luck to you. p/s comments above base on reading and from other forums,no personal experience. |
