We are very basic player
if weekly water changes seems like a hassle to you, then marine might not be your cup of tea.
you can prolong intervals between water changes by investing in a powerful skimmer, low bioload.
UV lights are not required in marine......CO2 only if you have a Ca reactor(also not a requirements unless you are keeping very Ca sucking corals like sps.)for lps normal water changes should be sufficient to replenosh requirements if you use a good salt.
do do more reading and decide what kind of livestocks you intend to keep. cost can be kept relatively low if all you want is a couple of clownfishes with some mushrooms.the cost escalates when you venture to more demamding corals.

end of the day,do remember.....marine is not a cheap hobby.
