hi, i tihnking about setting up a marine aquirum, i was just looking for a basic bit of advice when considoring this, could anyone help?
i already have an outdoor pond and a resonable size tropical aquarium, is there much more work looking after marine fish? what sort of size tank would i need etc? any advice would be greatfully recieved thanks bex |

hi there,
maintenence wise shud be about the same or slightly a bit more than your current tropical tank,IF, u got the initial set up right. do some research on the basics like cycling period,water parameters,etc etc this link wud be a good starting point for you. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/marine/index.htm IMO,an ideal size wud be a 3ft X 2ft X2 ft tank as it has enuogh water volume to be more tolerant of some newbies mistakes. cheers. |
