Help with identification?

Hi everyone,

I hope this isn't rude, and also hope that someone can help me. I'm not even sure if this fish belongs in a marine tank...

I recently took a trip to an aquarium in the Caribbean and took a photo of a fish that literally pops its entire body in and out of gravel/sand, but I forget to take a picture or even read the name.

If anyone can help identify this fish, or even point me at an online resource, that'd be greatly appreciated.
