JN23 nano tank Newbie

I'm saddened whenever i heard aquarist coming to replenish their fish stock whether saltwater or freshwater becos i've bad experienced myself (fish dying) without proper knowledge on water quality. So finally, i've decided to start one myself, hopefully to achieve sustainable ecological system.

I've been testing the water quality daily to ensure my fish is kept at optimum level.

Did some modification to the Rio nano skimmer & Filter i got with JBL filtration products.

Since it is a 1.5 ft and a beginner tank, i will keep it low profile, till I'm comfortable to upgrade to 4 ft tank, then i will need a good Protein skimmer and Sump tank/Canister. For beginner, most important thing to learn is the salt content thru salinity check, and water quality (Nitrite, Ammonia)

My nano tank salinity level is kept within 1.020 - 1.023

2-3 yrs ago my friend persuade me to keep saltwater fish but i refused becos i knew if i dunno how to create a sustainable environment for them, it will be very cruel for them. This time, i'm determined to give it a try and experiment with it.
