Unhappy Looks like Fin Rot, but I cant be sure?

Hi
So I've got three (fancy?) goldfish (about 3" each without tail) in a 25g tank with one little pleco. Recently the one goldfish (the one with the largest, fanciest tail) is showing what I guess could be fin rot...but I've treated it with this "AP Plus+ Anti Fungus - Fungus and Fin Rot Treatment"(aq-products.com) and it seemed to clear up, but now its come back and it seems worse as he now has red veins showing up on, what was, his very nice tail....and maybe on his side fins (not sure of the technical names for the different fins, sorry), but I could be wrong about that. Does anyone have any ideas on how to treat this fish? I dont have a second quarantine tank, so a treatment that all my fish could endure would be best, but if not, I'll go and get a second small tank for him....(would a 5 gallon bucket do for a quarantine tank?)...thanks for the help

Default Veins on tail

My advise is move the sick fish away from the group. It sounds cruel but this is prob the very serious stage a gold fish gets and usually incurable. Mine had the same symptoms and less than a week belly up.

Ok, I'm going to put him in a bucket as quarantine...I've also bought some Pimafix...should this do what I need. What is the difference between this and Melafix. thanks

Melafix works primarily as bacterial remedy and secondary for fungal. Pimafix works primary on fungal and secondary bacteria. If you are sure that its bacterial infection then use Melafix to treat.
