Red face Can ranchu grows big in indoor tank?

Yup that's right, sound like a stupid question but very important to me. If I intend to raise small ranchus in a 3 feet tank, will they grow big and have nice headgrowth? What I have been told is to raise them in pond so that they will grow faster and bigger. Are there any other methods?
TQ.

Yes, ranchu can grow big in indoor tubs or tanks. Given that you keep the number down and feed the fish with live feeds (frozen redworms for example) and high grade pellet feed such as the Hikari Breeder's Preferred Fancy Goldfish Sinking pellet or imported Japanese specialized ranchu feeds.

Ranchu can be kept in various kinds of habitat as long as you pay good attention to the water quality, feed (live feed, pellet feed, and vegetable), and sunshine. If you do not have sunshine then you will need to find vitamin additives to help with the development of pigment and good scales condition.

To absolute ranchu,
Yeah I feed my ranchus with variety of food including the live one. Hikari lionhead sinking pellets is one of my favourite too.

What you say is right, my 4 feet aquarium doesn't have any direct sunshine shine through! I just switch on my aquarium light for few hours. Is this good enough for the development of pigment and good scales?

For the vitamin addictives, can you recommend any good, reasonable priced and reliable products for me which I can get in Malaysia?

Thank you. Nice to meet you.

Best regards,
Brian
