Hey Pilik-Palak, I presume that you want to breed your own pom-poms since you want a male one! If yes, teach melah. I also want to try to breed some goldfish!

that male is not for me,my friend want it to improved our single tail pom-pom.he doing an out crossing first then double doses our local line .he aim is make the pom-pom larger.unfortunally i told him that it will modefied our local pom-pom shape.so to avoid further arguement,we decided run a test first and see what will come out .while he do the out crossing,i'm doing the inbreeding program.this is a coperation project.

Don't be so stingy, Just tell me the secrets of breeding goldfishlah? What equipments do I need to accomplish that?
Let say I bought a new big fat belly female goldfish(full of eggs), will I be succesful if I breed it with my existing male goldfish in my aquarium?

no, i'm not a pro breeder, just intrested in goldfish and learn their basic genetics.we r one of the group in p.j area intrested in our local strain goldfish and suprisely none of our group is member of the malaysia goldfish society, that i so suprised.most of us breed our local goldfish maintain the breed and improved the line special for show quality.we found out that it a waste that our own goldfish being improved by our 'jiran' (sorry forget the spelling, some do tell me the english word, pls)country while our local hobbies don't serius or intrested on this.

FYI,
we do hv our local goldfsh strain that not belong in china or other country and we should maintain this variety.we r still new in the goldfish world, still a lot thing need to keep up.just start collect and breed this local variety.
