White nose

For a while now my goldfish has had a white "blob" on his nose iv treated him for fungus but it isnt cotton wool like. The other week it was hanging off like a scab but now its just come back! so confused any ideas?!?!?

Just observe closely. Could it be a parasite(argulus in disguise)? Or just a faded patch?

its not a parasite or anything like that. It just looks like a raised bit of his skin thats turn white. Could he have burned his nose on the heat of the light while getting air from the surface?

Could be fungus but can't confirm as we've got no visual on the patch. Cannot be burned though cos if it is, the fish might be dead by now due to severe hemorrhaging. How big is you fish by the way?

head to tip of the tail its about 7". seems to go and come back its just white skin very odd
