maybe its internal bacteria. not too sure bout that but certainly not your filter's prob. goldfish that size quite hard to get sucked into a filter.

long white stringy poo is a sign of constipation, if any of the other fish get it, stop feeding for a few days then feed them peas, that will clear the system.

white poo is a sign of Argulus Foliaceus? or fish louse and parasitize the skin or gill of the fresh water fishes. It causes tissue damage and secondary infections. Internal bacterial infection.....?? i read it that day in a book...Hmmm......just a thought

Argulus is a parasite that clings to the outside of the fish.. like a tic on a dog.
i dont think that it would make their poo white.
its most likely just constipation, if its not that i could be something bacterial..

oh right maybe.. actually it is possible.. but if there are no argulus on the fish (very visible little bugs.. yuck!) then it wont be that.
