Argulus...you mean fish lice? I put the affected fish in a bowl, then hold it such that the part of body with the louse is above water, then with the other hand I press a piece of rock salt I can hold onto the louse. After a while the louse will detach itself and fall into the bowl. I then put the fish back and proceed to torture the louse with more salt until it dies before discarding the bowl of water. This is what I do with mine last time. When I was small though my dad used tweezers which may leave am ark on the fish if not careful.

i found out that it's not argulus cos the last time i saw argulus, i just rub it lightly & it's off the fish. but this time it's a nasty parasite that is beige in color & have a very hard clamp into the tail of my fish. so i used an old skool technique but puttin my special med remedy (anesthetic) to relax the fish & then pull it out gently. but to my surprise, this fish is really too strong for such med so it reacted by swing left & right. obvious, the operation was successful except for the part whereby during the struggle.......my tweezers broke one of his tail bone....aaarrrggghhhh! but nvm......still proud of this buddy of mine. thanx guys.....for all the support & opinion given ya....
