Ranchu tail rot - help!!

Anyone has an idea on how to cure my black ranchu tail rot problem...i applied salt, heater already but still no improvement, what is the cuase? what is the cure?...pls reply

Go and buy the blue colour type of medicine....or go to the fish shop and ask the man why its like that and why cannot cure...tell him to recommend you a medicine...

normally fin rot if in bad state very hard to cure, pray hard it will recover

There's no overnight cure... be patience...

quarantine the fish first...

the water needs to be in perfect condition too.

get the green meds.....for fin rot or melafix for effective cure. quarantine the fish in another tank.

My GF the rotting disease transfer from one fish to another despite putting in the medicine. What could be cause, the water is ok after testing it.Hope the Senior Member can help.

尾腐れ病


　 トリコディナ キロドネラ

　 　 特徴
尾腐れ病はその名の通り尾が腐れて溶けたり､扇を破いたようになる病気。
初期症状は尾の先が白く濁り次第に広がって行く。鰭の先端部分から裂けてくる
重症になると｢破れ傘のようになり」尾の筋だけが残る｡さらには筋も溶けて無くなる｡

原因 フラボバクテリウム　カラムナス(カナムナス菌)と呼ばれる病原細菌の感染によって尾腐れ病は 起こります｡
鰭が溶けるのはカナムナス菌が、強力なたんぱく質分解酵素を出して鰭を溶かしてしまうため｡
カナムナス菌は十分な酸素の供給がないと増殖すること出来ないため内臓にまで及ぶことは無い｡

注：ダクチルギルス､ギロダクチルギルス(吸虫類)
　　サイクロキータ　トリコディナ(繊毛虫類)の寄生によっても
　　同じ症状となるので注意が必要。当然治療方法も異なる
対策 抗菌剤のパラザンＤグリンＦゴールド、エルバージュ

In summary, as the fungus spreads, if the sign shows the "bacteria" starts eating up the fin and left the tail like a broken umbrella... it is a sign of a serious bacteria infection, a kinda parasite... Treat the sickness as if the fish has a parasite infection rather than using just normal fot rot treatment.

I'm not too familiar with the medicine name he put, will ask him next time... but can try the normal red medicine if you ask me where to start with...
